This is a great pattern with a cute little result! Unfortunately I ran out of yarn so have to order some more in to finish the fins however I wasn’t sure if I started with a full ball. The pattern doesn’t state how many balls is needed but I would get two just in case in the body colour. I do like this pattern but my only suggestion is that the pictures were a little bigger and there were more instructions for some of the tricker parts, such as the tail. For example it tells you to crochet 27 after moving back the stitch maker however if you crochet 27 on top of those extra 2-5 stitches you would have uneven fins. Otherwise great pattern!
I used a fingering weight yarn and it turned out super cute. Excited to try the pattern in different yarn weights.
